This session offers an introduction to using services provided by Turnitin designed to help instructors automatically identify instances of potential plagiarism, collusion and AI-generated content in student work submitted via Canvas.

In this session you will learn:

  • How Turnitin works and its capabilities
  • How to set-up Turnitin’s services in Canvas
  • How to access and use Turnitin’s Similarity Report
  • How to access and use Turnitin’s AI Writing Detector Report
  • Instructor responsibilities relating to Turnitin's use

All faculty are warmly invited to participate, whether teaching in-person, online or somewhere in between.
